This topic has been hammered before !!!! The 1.25" barrel is not really
suppose to be removed to give you two different eyepieces. The barrel is a
Barlow but not a 2x type.
If you remove the Barlow you lose the FOV. You will also notice that
eyepiece correction is bad. You can't get something for nothing, I wished
that were true, but it isn't. I hope this answer some of your question
without writing a book !!!!!
