I have been negligent in posting this. Better late than never...
(I hope this isn't beating a dead horse)

I recall an old thread where an abundance of people said that the 2-Star
alignment feature which uses "GOTO" to get close to the second star did
not work as hoped with the ROM upgrade. It was believed that the feature
was not added into the new ROMS. (I may have dreamed all of this
discussion, but it just seemed so REAL :)

When I installed my upgraded chips (a month ago), the "GOTO second star"
feature worked for me when I tested it.

So either I am remembering the original thread incorrectly, or I simply did
"the maneuver" different than everyone else, OR I got the "special" ROM
upgrade that no one else received ;)

Assuming that I did not dream the original thread, nor the successful test
that I did to verify the feature's existence, I am supplying my approach
below (from a 1 month old memory; seeing as there has been no "seeing" for
the last 5 weeks here in DE and I haven't had my scope out ):

select "Align"; press "2"; level; ENTER; select "starname#1"; ENTER;
center; ENTER; select "starname#2"; ENTER; *GOTO*; center; ENTER

Please let me know if I should go "check myself in"...
