Well, I'm now the proud owner of a "previously owned" LX200 12". *My*
first light with it was tonight (M 3, for the record). It was much more
difficult to get it aligned than I expected. But I suppose I'll get better
at it. It may help to read the manual, too :-)

So here's my first newbie question: what's the proper procedure for
bringing it back inside after it has gotten wet? I'm assuming its best to
take the front cap off and just let it dry. Should I worry about the back
cap or the eyepieces, too?

Second newbie question: should I lock the RA and Dec locks when carrying
it around in my hands? It seems more stable with them locked but the
manual is adamant that one should leave them free when transporting it.

Third newbie question: do you mind newbie questions? :-)
