I also had problems with streaking. What works the best for me is to use a
Clean cotton towel while the corrector plate is still wet. I have found that
if I use the towel while the plate is wet that the moisture is absorbed. This
has left me a clean streak free corrector. Try this the next time.
After the final rinse wrap the corrector in the towel, leave this in place
for a few minutes and then remove. The corrector will be dry and clean. You
may find a few cotton fuzz balls but these will blow right off.
