I'm afraid not. This seemingly easy task is actually easier said than done.
The ST7 DC power supply has three different output voltages: +12V, -12V, and
+5V. For someone with a bit of electronics experience, it would be feasible
to build a battery interface circuit with 78xx series voltage regulators,
but it's not a simple task for the typical user.
