Im sure you have, Hans; but that does not prove anything! Many of us also operate at 18V with no problems as well!

Robs point was: we think that the people who have reported failures have so far been 18 Volters. Has anyone had the problem with 12V?

Rob, I have been operating an SCT on an LXD650 mount with the 1697 CDS and a
10" LX200 on 12 volts for over a year without any problem whatsoever!
