Subject: New ROM problem

I have a 12 inch LX200 and since changing to the new ROM version, I have noticed
two problems:
1. The electric focuser only works in slow mode
2. I am now unable to link the SKYGSC software to control the scope

Do the new ROM versions have anything to do with these problems?

I also looked Ralph Pass's database of errors in the older ROMS. Was polaris
really 15 arc minutes out? I certainly noticed a difference in setting up and
polar aligning for the first time with the the new ROM installed
