That implies that the "site" was set at 50 or 60 deg N latitude, right?
(i.e., enough to put omega cen. far enough below the horizon to crash the
OTA into the base). That might be possible since you were a two day drive
south of your normal site, and that might be enough latitude to do it.
So, did you not remember to change the "site" information?
