I think that what must make a difference in the UK is the general
camaraderie of the punters with the dealers and that the dealers
all know each other and often trade with each other.The pickings are
so small in such a cottage industry as this in the UK that they do
not want anything to give them a bad reputation.I worked out by
backwards logic guesswork info from rumors etc etc what BCF
make on a scope and it was reasonable but not excessive and did
not allow much left to waste on fixing things at their expense.
Basically in the UK it is Britgov unlimited that are the main rip off
merchants here as usual.
