Howard, I attended the Grand Canyon Star Party in
June last year. I therefore know for a fact that Arizona
does get snow. It was snowing when I arrived and we
had the worst dew problem I have ever seen that first
night. Now I admit that it cleared up and the rest of the
week was absolutely beautiful but it did get cold and
snow at least once.

Sorry, I cannot resist. Location, location, location.
Here in Tempe,
Arizona, the sky has been clear for days and the
windshield of my car has had no dew for weeks.
(Rumor has it that this dew stuff actually freezes in
some far-away places.) Last year we had a lot of
"dew-days" and it actually got down to 35 degrees.
Peach trees bloom in February here.
