Hey! Not fair, Steven! Have Meade given us any indication that they act like this in the past? Gee, c'mon mate, Scott has said before he often goes away and as he is "our" support person with the internet connection, we should wait until he comes on, I'm sure he will help us.
I had a drastic problem with my LX-200 last month and Scott had it repaired for me within two weeks, Meade have only showed me what a great backup service they have. I'm sure Scott will jump in as soon as he is available.
Unlike me, perhaps you can use a phone? Why not try calling Meade and ask?

.. and I see nothing to the contrary, either. Let's wait until we hear from them and don't all jump the gun, shall we?

Gee, you are pissed off :-) Just wait a little while, Scott hasn't left any messages to anyone since we started talking about it, so from this I assume he is away. Give Meade a chance, I am *sure* they will put it right, they have always down the right thing for me.
Kind Regards with soothing tones,
Steven.
