My husband, Gary is using his 10" LX200 with an IBM tower and a full size monitor. He runs it off a Diehard Rv-Marine Deep Cycle Series 24 with a 250 watt inverter. Runs for 30-36 hours. Draws 2 to 2-1/2 amps depending upon the function you are performing on the computer. He tried using it with a laptop for awhile, but couldn't stand the screen. It was so bright and weird.

The LX200 seems very portable and fast to assemble compared to the Meade DS16 he was using. I work with a Celestron 8" (which I love) and Gary is always up and running 20 minutes or so before me...and that includes all the computer crap.
