A friend of mine and I had "first light" with a new f/10 Meade 12" LX200 last night. I've got to tell you it was total fun!

This is the 3rd LX200 I've had the pleasure to work with. The views were incredible! I can't remember the last time I've seen M57 look so well defined. We looked at Saturn at 470x and it was stunning...the seeing was excellent! I only wish that Jupiter were up at the time as well.
