Yes I do! I use a Meade Pictor 416 on the Meade in alt/az. I have 10", you didn't say if you had 10" or 8", but on my 10", the 416 causes no problem with balance. They are fairly heavy.

Why not ring Meade and ask them? I am sure you will them very helpfull.

I would trade my LX-200 10" for only one thing:
