Subject: Equatorial Wedge versus Field De-rotator

Hi everyone
I was wondering if anyone knows if Meade are planning (or if it is feasible)
to introduce a field de-rotator for the LX200 8,10 and 10" models. They have
one for the 16" model and I know it costs a lot more than the wedge. My main
reason is portablity, as I don't want to take the wedge to a site with me
with the rest of the equipment.
Any info is much appreciated
