After all of the talk about dew problems on this net and by people in general can somebody tell me why Meade has not made LX200's with a heater moulded into the corrector plate assembly as part of the scope. It seems to me that selling an SCT without this is like selling a car without a rear screen demister. If this is not possible how about a low power one that wraps around the scope body on a permanent basis that can be left on for long periods run off the mains power supply at low voltage via a transformer for permanently based locations. Also If anybody is interested there is a commercial astronomy mag on the WWW at www.demon.co.uk/astronow it claims to be the first. So again Meade when are you going to have one with a catalogue on line.
