Rob,
The two camps need tanks to win this debate......I've seen Jason Ware's
photos for many years and hope some day I can get results as fine as his.
I've read most of the articles on astrophotography he has authored. He
has spend more time under the stars taking photos guiding by eye than most.
I have friends that align large 14" scopes (by themselves) in remote areas
with quick drift alignment, guide by eye with perfect round stars for 90
minutes, using the drift method with a quick leveling of the tripod. Put
your money on experience with the Astroviking that moves his scope to a
special site to capture the ultimate photo he/she can..............ric ecker
