Francais, voir plus bas SVP!

A new version (1.10) of FITSPIC, a FITS to WinMIPS format converter,
compatible with most ccd camera acquisition software, is available on
my homepage at:

http://www.Geocities.com/Paris/3293

and also on ftp sites netsys.com (USA) and astro.gea.cesca.es
(Catalunya).

Version 1.10 has the following features:

- FITS to ".PIC" conversion for FITS files produced by CB245 programs
211PLUS, 245PLUS, Win245, and probably other software for other
cameras.

- Single or multiple files processing

- Compatibility with either ".FTS" or ".FIT" extensions

- Optional smart renumbering for WinMIPS batch processing features.

- Optional autoscaling of intensities found in the image for direct
viewing in WinMIPS.

- Integration of most FITS header information into ".PIC" comment
fields

Next version (1.20) should provide:

- Optional backup of processed FITS files, that will be moved to a
subdirectory named after date of observing, computed from noon to
noon.

- Optional export of FITS file header to a text file.
