Subject: OT: FOV timimgs?

I'm having a little trouble calculating the actual field of view of my
system. I made a little spreadsheet to compute the actual FOV based on the
focal length of my scope (which I measured to be 3071 mm using a Celestron
MicroGuide eyepiece), the focal length of my various eyepieces and the
apparent FOV of the eyepieces (4 Naglers and a 35mm Panoptic). I then
watched a star whose Declination was very nearly zero (actually -0d 50m)
cross the field while I had the drive off. Multiplying the average
crossing time by 15 to get arcminutes I get numbers that are 20 to 30
percent less than calculated by my spreadsheet. What's wrong here?
