I was out observing the moon at about 10:30 last night when a
satellite in silhouette crossed the moon from north to south. I
was amazed to have seen something like this. I could make out
the solar panels and the body was rectangular shaped. But wait,
not long after I saw another moving towards the southwest. This
one was round with a long boom on it. Is this something that
happens very often, or only when the moon is due south. Has
anyone else seen this happen?
