I bought this unit for my lx200; it died inexplicably
during service and I
have since built a 18V rechargeable battery pack.
Later I bought another
cheapo inverter at an autoparts store for $39,
which I have been using to
power my laptop, no problem.

Dear Don:

How did you build your 18v. battery pack? What
kind of batteries did you use?
