I was also uncomfortable mounting my 10" LX-200 to the wedge, until I
stopped using both handles. Now I grab one handle and the base of the
opposite fork arm -- works great. Since the weight is right up against my
body, I can even lean back a bit and hold it with one hand while I put in or
remove the first bolt.
