Subject: [M]: 1-1/4" reducer for 416?

There has been reference on this list to a type of field reducer that can
be inserted into a 1-1/4" tube, and used in series with a standard celestron
6.3 reducer, to yield effective f ratios of 3.x. I have been unable to
locate these so far, except for one made by SBIG (for the ST4) that is
supposedly not suitable for larger chips, due to vignetting. Can anyone tell
me if these critters exist, in a form useable with the 416?

I am leaning towards getting a maxfield, but would certainly look into the
advantages and disadvantages of such a device if available!

TIA,
